History of Tacore S.L.
Foundation of Tacore
In 1982 Tacore was established as an innovative industrial machinery workshop in Galicia, rapidly specializing in the seafood canning cluster.
Creation of Citega
To provide comprehensive automation without third-party dependencies, we co-founded CITEGA, pioneering computerized process control in all our lines.
Latin American Expansion
We crossed the Atlantic with landmark turnkey installations in Chile, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, El Salvador, Panama, and Venezuela, becoming a premier export market.
Machine Vision & R&D&I
Pioneering breakthrough in industrial computer vision alongside the University of Vigo, collaborating in European and national R&D frameworks.
Robotics Integration
Development of our first certified robotic canning line. Robotic basket loading and packaging quickly became a core engineering strength of TACORE.
