TACORE
INFORMATION CENTER & FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

Everything you need to know about our process engineering, in-house fabrication in AISI 304/316 stainless steel, worldwide installation, and 24/7 technical support.

What types of machinery and turnkey lines does TACORE manufacture?
TACORE designs and manufactures complete processing lines and standalone machines for the seafood and canning industries: pelagic blast freezers, static and continuous cookers, industrial steam/water spray autoclaves with heat exchangers, robotic crating/uncrating, sanitary can washers/dryers, and automated wraparound case packers.
Do you build machinery adapted to specific can formats and packaging?
Yes. We engineer equipment for all container types: tinplate and aluminium cans (round, club, dingley, oval, RO-1000), glass jars, trays, and pouches. Low-friction transport circuits ensure zero scratching on protective lacquer and easy-open lids.
Do you handle turnkey projects and international installations?
Yes. TACORE machinery operates continuously in over 18 countries across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. We manage the entire lifecycle: preliminary engineering, 3D layouts, in-house fabrication in Spain, global shipping, on-site mechanical/electrical assembly, and hands-on commissioning.
What is the typical fabrication and delivery lead time?
Lead times depend on line complexity and robotics. Individual machines like washers or retorts are delivered on expedited schedules, while complete custom automated lines typically require between 12 and 24 weeks, backed by Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) prior to shipment.
What sanitary and safety directives does TACORE machinery follow?
All equipment complies with the CE Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU (for autoclaves and cookers), EHEDG hygienic guidelines, and FDA food-contact standards. Sanitary Clean-in-Place (CIP) geometry eliminates cross-contamination risks.
What stainless steel grades are used in manufacturing?
We use exclusively certified food-grade austenitic stainless steels: AISI 304L for frames, covers, and dry circuits, and AISI 316L for all surfaces in direct contact with hot brine, corrosive vapours, or heavy saline environments.
How does remote technical assistance (SAT) and diagnostics work?
Our electrical control panels include secure industrial telemetry gateways. TACORE automation engineers can connect in real-time to your facility’s PLCs and SCADA systems to resolve software anomalies, fine-tune thermal recipes, and inspect telemetry without travel delays.
Do you provide urgent original spare parts dispatch?
Yes. We maintain a comprehensive inventory of critical original spare parts (valves, sanitary seals, gearmotors, and wear items) at our headquarters with international express shipping.
How can I request an engineering study or customized quote?
Reach us via our web contact form, by email at webinfo@tacore.es, or directly via WhatsApp at +34 615 79 65 36. We will analyze your production targets (kg/h), container types, and plant footprint to deliver an optimized proposal.
